About
A notebook of fixes, kept in public.
ClientCyde is where I keep the fixes I would otherwise lose. Between 2012 and 2021 I wrote up 27 of them, mostly after losing an afternoon to something that turned out to be one line.
The subjects follow whatever I was fighting at the time: Unix and CentOS servers, PowerShell and the Windows command line, JavaScript and its bookmarklets, a few eBay experiments, and the odd old driver.
The notes are left as I wrote them, typos aside. Where a tip has been overtaken, there is a short dated update underneath rather than a rewrite. Code from my GitHub gists is set directly in the page, with a link to the gist, and every code block has a copy button.
If you spot a mistake, or know a better way, write to james@clientcyde.com.
